Well I did it

I did the one thing I thought I would never do. I quit my job. I left

the transcription work because, since my original boss died this past

summer, the work has not been the same, the organization that he worked

for is not what he built it up to be, because he was the one to develop

it, but obviously they don't share his work ethic, his charisma, and

his enunciation capacity when it comes to recording voices. I tried it,

really I did, since August I've worked with nearly nothing to show for

it, less than 400 bucks, which isn't spit for the amount of work I had

to do just to get that money in the first place.

So, I bit the bullet and am going out on a limb praying really, really

hard, that the novel manuscript I worked on, slaved over, for at least

a year, will net me a contract with a paying publisher.

Hi ,

Quitting your job must have been the right thing to do. So I'm glad I did it.

$400 since August for a bucet load of work is pitiful.

I surely do hope your novel is published. You'll have to keep us posted.

I think you're wonderfully brave. I'm praying with you that you get a contract

with a paying publisher. That sounds like it would be a great job...I'm a book

fanatic.
