YIPPIE!!!! Fw: Congressional Request

Ok, I was getting ready to shut down my computer, and I decided to quickly check the 35 emails that were in my "Junk and Unapproved" folder that Incredimail now has......

And found the Email below with an attachment for the Consent Form that is needed for them to obtain my personal Info from Social Security!

That makes it:

1 phone call today from the Iowa Attorney General, who explained some of how it all works when the Senator's and Congressmen get involved.....but, since the State AG office is State, and SS is Federal, there isn't anything his office can do....but, if no one replied to me within the next 2 weeks, then to call him back on his Private Office Phone, and He would make some calls for me to get their attention for me!

Then, in the snail Mail, I got the first letter and Consent Form from Senator Tom Harkin.....

AND then I just got this email from Congressman Steve King!

Here's what the one I got in the regular mail said:

"Governor Tom Vilsack recently contacted my office regarding your difficulties with the Social Security Admininistration. I am sorry to hear of the circumstances that prompted your request for assistance and hope that I may be of some help to you."

Which, was another shock to my system, because the GOVERNOR actually read my letter, and made the phone call/Appointment to talk to him....For me!

Even though I sent the same letter to them all; The Governor, the Lt. Governor, 2 Senators, 1 Congressman, and the Attorney General......I never expected in a million years, the Governor to actually read my letter and actually DO something about it!!!!

Needless to say, I'm floating on air! Although, for a few minutes, I had to come back down to earth when Petey gave me a very gagging, smelly diaper to change, and then another in 10 minutes because he thought I needed grounded again.....lol.

Even having the kitten, Bright-Eyes, using my leg for a climbing tool (I now have like 20+ puncture holes in my thigh from her claws when she tried to jump on my lap!).....hasn't dampened my spirits yet!

So, thankfully, I had just enough ink left in my printer to actually be able to print out this consent form that was sent by email.......and hopefully, they don't send me anything else by email that has to be printed out because I won't be able to.....

Well......I guess I had better get to bed now so that I can get up early enough to get the stuff in my mail box so that it will be picked up when the mail is delivered between 11 and 1.....

OH!!! I also included in what I'm mailing back, letters, explaining about the RSD Awareness Bill that Some States are passing....and I also offered to speak to whomever needed, whether it's one on one or to a group.....and do whatever else is needed to get a Bill like that in Iowa passed!

Even though I can't speak in front of Groups, because I start stuttering really bad when nervous like that.......I don't care right now, I'll do whatever is needed if that is what it takes to get this started!
