Guest guest
Just got home from my weekly blood check and they were amazed that I am standing. (me too) All of my blood counts are way way low...bottomed out. WBC = 0.4 GRAN = 0.5 RBC = 3.04 HGB = 10.3 HCT = 30.4 PLT = 38. They gave me a shot of Aranesp to bring up the red, and ordered me to STAY HOME and prescribed Levaquin and told me to take it now and not wait. (My Neulasta shot was last Tuesday) Also told me to check my temp 3 times a day and if it reached 100.5 to go to the hospital and check myself in for a 4-5 day stay. My immune system is non existent with this low count and they are afraid I will come down with an infection and I would have no way to fight it. I told them I went to Oklahoma this past weekend to my daughter's concert and they fell out!! Said that is the LAST place I should have been. When I told them I hugged everyone there they really had a spasm. All my family and friends were there that I hadn't seen in 4 years. We were to go camping with our camping group tomorrow thru Thursday and he forbid that. A definite no no. My mind as well as my body is really dragging. No wonder I slept most of yesterday. Probably will do so again today. I'm not sick... Just BONE TIRED. Love you all. Keep your fingers crossed for me. Guess ending the chemo didn't end the problems.
