Guest guest
The strange thing is I talk to you and online more than I do my sisters!!! me too!!!! one of mine lives about 5 minutes away and i can't even get her to answer an email! oh, well. i am feeling better - but still not great. yesterday almost got into an argument with my pharmacist about my pain meds. he was gripping at me about the instructions etc; and 'how many of these do you take?" etc; etc; and i said "look -i don't write the prescriptions and i don't take the bottle home and down it all at one time either - -" he said he'd call my doctor and i said "PLEASE DO" and left. they were supposed to call me when the script was in and they had it ready and they never did. i had to call today to see if it was ready and then my mom went by and picked it up. i told her i was probably going to start moving all my scripts to another pharmacy. the old guy there is so grouchy and there were other customers there - - made me really mad. anyway - tomorrow will be better!!! thanks for thinking about me. debbie (ark)

Hi Debbie, I think that's very unprofessional for any Pharmacist to treat customers in that manner. If we have a prescription from the doctor, if he/she has a questions regarding the prescription, he/she should automatically check with the physician. I'm sorry you were treated that way and hope you don't have that problem again. One of my sisters (actually it's Debbie) only lives about five miles from me and when she's online and sees me online, she doesn't even bother to say "Hello." Did you mean you have two sisters, too? I am the middle child. Hope your pain gets better. Hugs & Prayers Carole
Guest guest
my husband only reads the posts that i read to him or tell him about. i wish he would be more interested also. he could learn a lot just reading them much faster than me trying to tell him things. debbie (ark) It would sure help them understand more about this stupid disease and help them understand some of their own feelings as well. I'm at least grateful that I am not so stubborn. :-) Sandy

The least he could do was at least be concerned about you instead of being so grouchy. There are a lot of people out there (the drug addicts) that have made it difficult for those of us who genuinely need the pain medications to function. Sounds like changing pharmacies is a good plan. Guest guest
Hi Sandy: Sorry to hear that you regressed. I would love to be at 45mm. Apparently, per the surgeon, that was my pre-op measurement. I only had that much thanks to another surgeon putting me under years earlier to stretch my jaw open after another dentist locked it shut. That was hell & I never want to do that again but it was the easy way to get back that flexibility & I'm beginning to wonder if I can get back to that on my own. I use my knucles & fingers for stretching as it doesn't hurt my teeth that way. I can stretch easily to 36mm & after stretching for a while I can usually get up to 40 but it's like it goes right back down. I can bite into most things easily but every now & then I wish I had more of the flexibility so I could work the food around more easily in my mouth. So anyway, how did the nasal surgery go? Remind me why you had it. I breathe mostly through my nose now but I do breathe through my mouth at night. I think I need to see one of those ent's to see about improving my airway. I don't pop in too much but I will try to respond to your post as soon as I see it. Good luck, Georgia > Hi Georgia! I saw your last post awhile ago.
