I have read both – one group says VCO should be taken separately

from probios and yoghurt and another group says VCO only kills bad bacteria. It

will be interesting to see what this group says since Elaine has done so much

research.

If you use Virgin coconut oil, yes it will interfere with absorption

of probiotics - it will smother them - I have called Klaire Labs to

verify this info in the past. I was told that expeller pressed or

refined coconut oil is ok to mix in a smoothie w/ probiotics, but not

the virgin oil. Tropical Tradidtions makes excellent products. Their

expeller pressed oil has no taste, and works wonders anti-

microbially, even though it is " refined " .
