Guest guest
Oh Amira I agree! One time my husband and I, who are both very overweight (or rather were at the time), went into a restaurant and were seated at a booth. We both were so uncomfortable that we could NOT sit there. The seats were very close to the table, closer than most, but most of it was because between us there was over 500 pounds trying to cram into the booths. We had to ask to be moved to another table and I was humiliated! Another time we were in Disneyworld at Disney Quest at the roller coaster simulator. We built our coaster and went to " ride " it. (You build it on a computer and then you get into a sim that simulates the ride you just built.) They could BARELY close my overhead lap bar, and Roy couldn't fit at all. They videotape your reaction as you " ride " your ride and I look completely miserable. Partially because I was in pain, and partially because I was mortified that they had to lean down on the bar to squish my fat in, and I knew Roy was humiliated that he couldn't ride. Even regular roller coasters used to be horrible, so much so that I would just say I hated coasters and refuse to go on them. The year before I started my weight loss I was talked into going on the Ghost Rider in Knott's Berry Farm. I was so afraid that the darn thing would derail! This last summer when we went to Disney's California Adventure I rode the California Screamin' over and over and over and over again just RELISHING fitting neatly, with room to spare, into the seat and when we'd go over the drops and hills my body would lift effortlessly into the air because I was NO LONGER FAT! Guest guest
I had never really thought about it, until I went to the gymnastics championships here a few years back. I had been to Arco Arena (where the Sack-of-tomato Kings play) for many events--but never a game, working on that this season. Anywho, the seats were a tad tight, but I could fit in them. So I went to the championships and when I sat down, there was room to spare on both sides. And when folks wanted to get by, I could move my legs and let them by and not have to stand up to do it. It didn't him me until I got home all that happened. I just checked my t-shirt for the date and checked my WI book from then and I had lost 45 pounds at that time. So I was so proud the next time I went to my meeting to share my NSV. Gymmie in Cali °Ü° The difference between fat and fit is " I " What you eat between Thanksgiving and Christmas isn't nearly as important as what you eat between Christmas and Thanksgiving
