Guest guest
I get dizzy when I'm sitting alot. I am really not sure what to blame it on. I take a lot of meds that warn of dizzyness. I've been paying more attention to my symptoms, because I am supposed to get an appointment with either the new doctor this week or the doctor at the ER this week (I run out of my " sample prescriptions " on Wednesday). I'm hoping this new doctor will be able to answer some of my questions about the symptoms that I don't think my current dx's explain. The new doc might just chalk it up to the fibro, but a doc other than my first doc telling me this might make me feel a little bit better about taking the medicines that they are giving me, ya know? I don't want to take medicine if it's not gonna make me feel better (esp. when i don't have enough money to pay for them) or if they are the wrong medicines to begin with. hugs > > Thanks everyone :-). It is nice to not be alone with this awful disease. I just had a spinal fusion and have fallen twice since then. Getting a ct scan next thursday. Hope I haven't messed it up. I guess I need to use my walker or cane in the house. > > Hugs and blessings, > Annie > > > ------------ --------- --------- --- > Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo! Guest guest
Annie, You sound like me! I have always fallen! My parents always made comments about it. In 2005 I fell and CO and dislocated my shoulder had to go to hospital there in Poudre Valley that hospital was like being on the show ER. I came home and dislocated it again and this time it stayed out I was screaming. I went to a Specialist after seeing my GP and he was not a very good Doc. He wouldn't do surgery just PT I had a torn Labrum and that is why it kept dislocating. I went to another Doc in May of 2006 and this one saw me twice and said that is it we are doing surgery. I fell twice after surgery. Another 6 mo. of PT. This was the first Summer of 2007 I was able to ride my motorcycle again. But being off my feet that long I am so weak. Its like the Fibro has taken over. But I asked my Rhuemie and he said that falling is a big part of Fibro. Alot of why I think I fell after surgery was my meds as they raised my Hydrocodone. I don't know. I have a husband who s always saying watch out for this or that. I love him for it but I feel like a child. I stilll feel so weak. But anyway be careful hun ok? Lori H Thanks everyone :-). It is nice to not be alone with this awful disease. I just had a spinal fusion and have fallen twice since then. Getting a ct scan next thursday. Guest guest
Hi Annie, Good luck on the CT scan. I too have had a spinal fusion, in my neck, the top 2 cervical discs so I can identify. I pray you haven't affected them with your falls, Marti Annie G wrote: Thanks everyone :-). It is nice to not be alone with this awful disease.
