Guest guest
Hi can someone help me with the sea salt thing. I am retaining too much water. Its almost like it wont came out all at once. my bp readings are higher on a night time. temps are aceraging 36.5 glucose 5.6 at night. My weight has increased by 7lbs in a month. Firstkly it started with me on the loo constantly during the night. Did a test showed low on t4. then i added t4 along side my armour which i take first thing. Cannot take Hc as it does me in. Im also worried it;; make my weight increase further. Scarey notion. Then i enede up with very bad abdominal cramps and boating almost like im about to start my periods. Two weeks of that and i weighed heavier by 5lbs. In the last week ive increased by a further 2lbs. My doctor thought it was beacuase im not converting t4 to t3 so asked i start taking cytomel. after 7 days of taking the stuff, my sleep has gone to pot and my adrenals have been in a state. My energy levels have been pretty much the same. I noticed a slight difference first thing only tired towards the end, but not sleeping good. So it cant be that as the weight has still piled on. I was thinking it was more fluid retention and my adrenals. overload of eostrogen. as my problems are alsways worse during coming up to my menses. Yesterday i took nothing. No meds at all. Just lemon water, vit c and few herbal drops to help the liver. Ate only salmon with lemon juice as a dressing. Today i feel good after a good nights sleep. I tried out some new therapy ive just got into. Ozone/oxygen Therapy for the adrenals and ovaries. I also supplemented with progeserone cream. Can someone helpwith the thyroid thing. I dont feel happy continuing with cytomel. I want to continue with armour- treat my adrenals with Ozone/oxygen directly funneled in. I will also be starting a candida diet, which i feel is partly to blame for my thyroid . I am stuck with what thyroid meds i should put back in. dO I RISK PUTTING BACK IN THE CYTOMEL at very low dose or do i try the armour again split over the day. How does sea salt help when you are already retaing sodium and suffering from high blood pressure. can someone advise. Yasmin uk
Guest guest
You are making severaL INCORRECT ASSUMPTIONS. First you are assumpoing you are retaining sodium. Your body can and will retain fluids when ti si LOW on sodium. It does so to keep from losing more sodium. Your fluid retention mayhave NOTHING to do with sodium and just be from being hypothyroid. You never should have to add T4 to Armour. Armour is 80% T4 and if on that much T4 you have high T3 you need adrenal support as the T3 is not able to get to the cells. In this instance if oyu take more T4, which you did it creates thyroid toxicity which feels HORRIBLE and oincludes fluid retenotin, and overall toxic feelings. You say HC " does you in " describe please. HC ios bioidentical cortiosl tht your body MUST have to live. You cannto survive for even a minute wihtout it. You are kloiw in this essectial hormone and if having side effects when yo take it let us help you fogure that out rather than just saying you can;t take it. Everyone can. or you would be dead. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
