Guest guest
To and All, I am 29, a mother of two small children, married, and working both in my home and outside it (when I don't have flares.) I'm also a Medical Lab Tech. I not only have a college degree in Lab Technology, but quite a few years experience in the lab. I've looked at this disorder, disease, or whatever you want to call it, righside up, leftside up, forwards, backwards, and upside down. I believe that there are some people who are misdiagnosed with fibro (i.e. food allergies, etc.), but I believe that fibro is a very real, and very painful condition. I also think that it is an autoimmune disorder that affects the CNS's ability to translate pain responses. Just like food allergies are where the body believes that these food proteins are " foreign " and begin to attack them causing an allergic response, the body for some odd reason believes that certain parts of itself are " foreign " and attack (autoimmune.) I take Lyrica, Cymbalta, and Advair. Lyrica for the Fibro, Cymbalta for chronic depression, and Advair for asthma. Lyrica to correct my CNS's ability to translate pain responses. Cymbalta corrects the chemical imbalance that causes depression. Anyways, hope this helps some. Kiley land
