Guest guest
Thanks Tasia. That's the kind of thing that we need to share on these groups b/c I don't want to see him based on that description. His book was OK and good to have, but I didn't like what I saw on his website and your report matches. I'm seeing a Top Doc in Cummings, GA in January - Milton - and I'm hoping for better than I have had so far, but afraid that it will be the same. None of them seem to know a thing about how to treat adrenals with HC. Is there a list of 's Docs somewhere - he doesn't even use HC, at least he seems to prefer supplements, vits and extracts from what I read in his book. > > , > I was probably the one who said that about HC. My doc doesn't usually prescribe HC, but I insisted on it and presented my list of symptoms and told him I could not continue 'this way'. I lucked out and got a guy who doesn't have ego problems and he listens. I think his 's training (he's an ND) allowed him to have an open mind with SYMPTOMS. I have not taken one blood test in the last 3 months--its all temp graphs and symptoms. here's the listing of wilson docs. Call ahead, tell them you do not want the time-released T3. Val was right about the TR-T3-its weak! CyTomel is a bit better, but I just started CyNomel yesterday and WOW big difference. http://www.wilsonsthyroidsyndrome.com/DoctorsListing/ Now that I am ordering my CyNomel from Mexico, and considering switching to the cream HC for cost and possible absorbsion issues, I really do not see a need to spend so much money on these dr. appointments. I plan on using him to help me with my sex hormones a few months from now, maybe an IV here and there. Dr. Starr shared that he is considering moving to AZ and becoming licensed as an ND. He also wants to get a huge magnetic rock near his office for treatment purposes. I realize now that he did not recommend saliva testing for hormones--he was satisfied with my blood work-that is probably why so many of those menopausal women were chunky in the middle. The thing that kills me is how knowledgeable he is, but something happened along the way. I don't know if a divorce distracted him...
