Hello everyone!

I just started with the group. I was wondering if anyone has any

answers about Lyrica? I just started taking it & I feel like crap!!!

Do I keep feeling like this or does it go away? I cut down to 1 pill a

day at nite the doc wants me on 4 per day. Does that sound right? The

dose of each pill is 75 mg. I don't know what to do I have to drive &

take care of my family! Please help!! What are you mainly having as

side effects?

Please help me I am so depressed. My doc won't give me pain killers

for the pain either. What do you suggest for the pain I'm in. The

pain is mostly in my neck, back.

Hi Cyndi - I'm behind again on messages. Are the pills splittable or are

they capsules? I don't take it myself, but thought maybe a half dose might

be easier? Some drugs just don't work for some people. Good luck. I would

try heat on your neck and shoulders. Hand-held massagers are fairly cheap

and help, and also any OTC pain meds that you can take. Try taking both

ibuprofen and Tylenol combined. I hope you get some relief soon.

I will validate that you are not crazy. I think most of us kind of question

that at some point. This is real pain. I also notice the change in vision you

are talking about. I have a prescription for contacts and glasses. It is a

perfect prescription, but some days my vision blurs on and off for some reason.

I know others can advise you on the Lyrica. I have not ever taken it.

with my pelvic floor muscles, my intestines... all the things people

cannot see or even imagine.

Cyndi,

You need a doc that will give you the pain meds you need at least

temporarily(limited script) till these other meds kick in, don't understand docs

that won't give pain meds,

I am going to take the day dose then because the doctor said that it will take

about a week for that side affect to wear off. Maybe I'll be ok when I go back

to work.My pain is mostly in my back. My doctor gave me Mobic to take once a

day. It is helping a little but doesnt seem to last long enough. I take it once

a day and supplement it with asprin. I just started the Lyrica on Tuesday which

is when I was diagnosed. I dont know yet if it is working or not since its

supposed to take a couple of weeks to do its thing. I hope you feel better soon.
