The GP recognized Steph's rash as " stress uticaria " and prescribed her a couple

things for it. (Haven't filled them yet so I don't recall; strongest cream

there is and an anti-itch med). At least that was better than the Ped saying,

" never seen anything like that " . He said he actually had a lady in the hospital

on IV steroids and when he put the sedative in to calm her down; the rash

lightened right before his eyes. So he's familiar with this. At least he

seemed to know what it was; sometimes you don't know for sure. (He thought he

knew what mine was too 4 years ago and he was wrong.)

I went to Rheum today. As I mentioned before she tends to like to adjust or add

one med at a time rather than multiple ones. She said I need to keep going up

on my Lyrica dosage before we try another pain med. Since I was due for a

refill today anyway, she rewrote the Rx for higher dose and said I should double

to triple my dose. So I'll be increasing that over the next few weeks. She

said the neck improvement was a good sign; but it was a slight sign and

hopefully it can give me much more improvement than that.

Steph goes to the Rheum tomorrow but I don't think they are going to determine

she's got Lupus. She does have aches and pains; and her bad days coincide with

mine like when the weather changes; she's 'not feeling well' too often; but I

don't think the labs supported it. Her ana (if I read it right) had to be over

120 to be positive and it was only 28. She might ache and pain less in the cold

weather if she ever wore real clothes outdoors!!

OK I'm going to stop babbling for now and see if I can get one more load of

laundry and dishwasher full of dishes done tonight before I run out of fuel.

(My own.)
