Guest guest
I did spend most of the day yesterday in bed and a good part of today. I guess I just really don’t feel well. I’ve been sitting here at the computer, but often just nod off… or more like the head bob. My brother reminded me what happens if I don’t listen to my body. There is nothing life or death going on. It’s amazing though how all of a sudden I can just nod off. Oh, well, I hope it passes soon. Don't feel guilty. Most of the time I don't have the energy to get my kids to and from school. It is all part of the wonderful plan fibro has for us. Hope you feel better. Allow your body to rest. That is what it needs. love, Debra V. Keep in mind that this is Friday. and I might have to go over the dreaded weekend. though I don't know why. Basically tell me it's ok to go back to be because I am so very fatigued. Guest guest
Tigger, instead of feeling guilty for taking the time to take care of yourself, try looking at it a different way. Be thankful that you CAN take the time to take care of yourself. You really are lucky right now that you can take however much time you need to take care of yourself and to help get yourself better. Don't feel guilty about that. I think it is wonderful because i know how hard it is to try and do that when you really don't have the time to do it. For example, my left knee has been killing me for a week. Every time i bend it it feels like hundreds of knives just shooting through my knee. But, I had to get up every day and go to work last week and get up and down out of an office chair and walk around work. By last night, i was crying every time it would bend from the pain. Let yourself appreciate the fact that you can take time to heal properly right now. I hope you feel better soon lisa n.
Guest guest
You're right. I also have a tendency to want to act like a normal person, which I know I never will be. Heck, lucky to even be here with all that I've been through this year. Thanks for the reminder and for bringing me back reality. Guest guest
Having to act like a normal person is not that fun to begin with. Your life is not your own. Your time and controlled by a job, responsibilities and family duties. You have to push yourself to the point of exhaustion both physically, mentally and emotionally just to keep up a front so that you can survive...not really enough life at all.. .just survive. lisa n.
