You're gonna need to talk to Tricia about this....not my area. Hey, I could tell you if you're crazy though. BarbaraDonna wrote:

I think Tricia has said to me that they've found that 40% of the clinic's RSD patients have it. Check with her. I've not seen anyone else here mention it and it makes me wonder if maybe some of the docs out there are unaware of it as a complication.> Barbara. Im interested in learning more about myositis. I'm curious if something like that is happening with me. As much as I keep active and follow my OT/PT exercises it feels like Im losing strength instead of gaining or even maintaining strength. My muscles are weak from the slightests exercise and this has never been a

problem in the past. Hell folding clothes and cleaning out the fridge make my arms weak. Is this what myositis means or is it just another symptom others deal with?HugsDonna

Hey Gang, I think we are all pretty nuts just to survive RSD or whatever initials the docs want to use for us. I bet they talk about us even worse than we do them. I hope one day to be there and overhear. I will feel their hears full of the truth and even though I am very angry today I would not wish this on any of them. I join all the crazy RSD special club members and love you all.

Im pretty sure that my dr has talked behind my back many time,

especially the ones who shake their heads at me and say " I simply

dont know " or the ones that tell me to just " deal with it " . They are

who drive me craziest!

I thought that this is what the group is for LOL. I am still recovering from the great Dr O's tortures or excuse me tests. I went to my regular doctor yesterday and he asked me how were my tests and Dr. O's. Well needless to say I told him all the pain and suffering I had to endure, he laughed and said he has heard some of his tests are rather interesting. Then I told him that he wanted me to go to a special MRI in land close to DC. I also told him that after the MRI he would then send me somewhere else for a procedure that might cure, make me better or nothing at all. He said the brain MRI's are experimental but when I told him about the procedure he said He wants you to do what!

Anyway he said to me that he can learn a lot from his tests, but about 1/2 of his reports he throws away.

Anyway I hope everyone has a good day.

No place I'd rather be if I'm crazy. At least Im not alone :)

Lin,

I've been reading the posts about this MRI he wants to do and it

sounds way to experimental for me. Anyway he can give you some

documented information on this? Can you contact the facility thats

supposed to be doing it and speak to a clinician there?

Gentle Hugs

I'm with you. We are definitely being talked about by our doctors and I bet they don't talk as nice as we do. HA!HA!

PS I am having blood work Thursday to determine what else is going on with my body. I am too week, sleep too much, etc. I don't what they are looking for but maybe we all have it. Maybe it's contagious via computers.
