Guest guest
, I wish I could help but I've never had a broken nose. However, I HAVE had a concussion from being hit in the nose and face by a 2 yr. old. Felt just like you are describing. I would imagine blood would seen if broken, but what do I know. Puppies are like that. Often they take a good 18 months to calm down. Try to remember the puppy was only happy to see you and probably thrilled for human contact. Like a toddler! Over exuberant!! Hasn't learned to control themselves yet. Back to your nose-I'm guessing you'll be ok if several days. ~Jennie **************************************Check out AOL's list of 2007's hottest products. Guest guest
Trust me, I understand hard times with Fibro and animals! I have 8 furkids currently!!! Do you have a Urgent Care type place near by? Perhaps you ought to drop in there? Do you have insurance? I think they cover more as it should go down as an emergency. The swelling in itself doesn't alarm me and I think the teeth would feel like that because of the swelling. But better safe that sorry. I literally " feel " what you are describing! Seriously. ~Jenn **************************************Check out AOL's list of 2007's hottest products. Guest guest
tim let the puppy in this morning to take her for a walk. I was sitting in the recliner and she ran and jumped full force putting both paws on either side of my nose and the corners of my eyes. It feels clogged up. No bleeding. It looks a bit crooked on the tip and has play in itwhen bending the tip to the right. Some pain also. If she has broken my nose, she has to find another home. She has been so hyper here lately and harassing the cats, who were here 1st. I cannot deal with her, with my fibro. She is always hurting me. Jumping on me biting me, knockin' me over, etc. I am so frustrated. anyhow, how do I know it I need to go to the dr that I cannot afford, lol. Guest guest
I am starting to swell and my front teeth are kinda numb feeling. New. I am driving myself crazy thinking it is broke. I know the dog did not mean it. I just have a hard time dealing with a puppy and fibro flare. jenniesattic@... wrote: , I wish I could help but I've never had a broken nose. Guest guest
>, i can relate to you about the hyper dog, my husband purchased a boxer puppy back last Feb, cute, oh that puppy was cute, but then turned in to the puppy from hell! I was taking her out in May I saw a snake, I screamed, she ran and dragged me across the yard, I hit my grandbabies plastic slide, fell and landed on both my hands, well my right side took the complete blunt if it, I tore the tenden in my rotator cuff, and lost my job over it all, just found out that i have nerve damage in my neck had another MRI done, to find out that I have bulging disc and ts is putting so much pressure on my nerve and I'm looking at a posible surgery in the next couple of months,on top of the fibro, so guess where little boxer went bye bye!!! because like you, I could not handle her not with everything else going on, so just wanted you to know that I relate to you and your dog problem! and oh did you brake your nose? Guest guest
Hi , I'm sorry about your nose. The only way I know to tell for sure is to have it Xrayed. I ran into our sliding glass door trying to answer the phone and it was obvious I had broken it. It swelled up and was black and blue almost instantly. It hurt like a sun of a gun. Anyway I did have it Xrayed, but there was nothing they could do because it flattened it and broke it across my nose instead of bending it. It that makes any sense. Good luck and I hope your nose feels better soon. Marti wrote: tim let the puppy in this morning to take her for a walk. Guest guest
It is not hugely swollen, but swollen nevertheless. I am dizzy, have a massive headache and feel like I have been attacked with a baseball bat. Front teeth feel a bit numb. I guess I will wait it out and see how it goes. I don't have the money for a copay anyway. Thanks hun. Marti Boguski wrote: Hi , I'm sorry about your nose. The only way I know to tell for sure is to have it Xrayed. Guest guest
High , I hope your nose is better now. There's not much that can be done for a broken nose, unless it's really bad like a boxer's, the fighters not the dogs, so it's probably OK that you couldn't go to the doctor. Does it look crooked? or smashed? now that the swelling has hopefully gone down. I hope not. Good luck with it. At least maybe it doesn't hurt so bad as before? Blessed be, Marti wrote: It is not hugely swollen, but swollen nevertheless. I am dizzy, have a massive headache and feel like I have been attacked with a baseball bat. Front teeth feel a bit numb.
