Hi all,

I thought I'd better update and give everyone the heads up on what's going

on.

Pat had some sevear pain the other day and we went to the walk in clinic for

the Marshfeild Clinic in Wausau yesterday that took forever, they took new xrays

and found out that my dear husband has bone spurs in his heal and when we

hurried to go to a fire call he agrivated them in his right foot. So that

explained the sevear pain he was in later that day and yesterday. He's been

given Oxcodone and told that he couldn't work yesterday or today. Much to the

disappointment of the guy that was made to replace him last night. We stopped at

the vets for Shyla, it seems our baby girl has a condtion that is normal for her

breeds, her eye lids are growing inward casuing them to rub against her eyes. So

she rubs them cause it hurts so bad, the vet tried to check them and she nearly

bit him twice. But he did and told us that if they got worse she'd need surgery

that would cost about 600 dollars. We don't have that kinda money so we are

hoping that she's not going

to get worse. they said that if she did we'd have no choice but to have the

surgery. So we are praying that she's gonna be ok

My dad has taken the time to do his chemo so he went to Milwaukee on the fourth

and is going to be there till Febuary 14th, and lemme tell ya after mom talked

to him today he's already hating it. He's bored cause he cant do his puzzles

cause there is no place to set them up. And he hates the food so that means he's

barely eating. I think part of the problem is that the chemo is making him sick

and the food isn't tasting right. I feel badly for my dad. We are visiting him

after christmas so we can have it with him. He is excited to see us, especially

if I get to tell him I am pregnant. this time we are hoping that it's true. We

did the firtility thing and followed the charts so we are praying that this time

we are.

on another note, we are trying to get a two bedroom moble home. It's for sale

for 3000.00 and the park rent is 260. both first and last months lot rent/ so

that means 520.00 and Pat and I are trying to get someone to cosign a loan for

us so we can get out of this tiny apt. We are so in a small apt that we can't

even set up a christmas tree. I am upset about that I hate having no christmas

tree. But we are celebrating christmas with both his mom and my family. His mom

on Christmas eve cause Pat has to work Christmas day, and then Christmas Day we

are spending it with my family. Then after christmas we are going to see dad.

OK there is the update.

Hugs to all

Vicki

Nice to hear from you Vicki. Havent heard from you in a while. Sorry about the

d/h's bone spurs. Those hurt I bet. I am glad your dad is taking the chemo,

but sorry to hear that he can't do his favorite past time... working puzzles. I

use to like to put puzzles together.

I hope he gets better. I hope too that you are pregnant now because I know

how you have been wanting a baby.

keep in touch,

love,

Debra V.

Thanks for the update, Vicki. Guess I didn't realize you were a Wisconsin

gal until this post. Or I forgot. I will pray for your dad. Take care.

Thanks, Yeah I am Rhinelander, WI. Have lived here for about 15 years, moved

here in 1993 graduated from Rhinelander High. Married now for almost 2 years and

my husband is originally from Rockford Ill.

But thanks for the prayers. My dad says the food isn't as good as he had hoped

and that means he's not eating.
