That kind of happened to me/ My last Job

I had been seeeing a Pain Therapist. I told her I had to sit at my desk and

that alot of the times I could barely move! I was attached of course to a phone

cord from the phone on my desk to my headset. Our leashes was more what they

were!

The pain Therapist had written me a note to my job that I was to get up and

walk the length of the building about every 1/2 hour which was about a 2-3

minute walk. The only way they would ldt me do this even with the pain

therapists note was that i would have to log off MY PHONE AND NOT GET PAID FOR

THE TIMES I WAS DR. ORDERED TO GET UP AND WALK.

Really made me angry. I was not going to lose pay for a dr ordered note, so

I ended up not logging off my phone but got up at my desk and stretched that

damn leash as far as I could. I was up every 15 mins walking to the end of my

leash and my manager would give me dirty looks . Oh well at least I still got

paid. But they were not accomodating at all. We really did not have an HR that

place was so screwed up! one day I had to holler at my manager because my phone

connections were smoking.

When they let me go I was so hurt! They had no valid reason except to say I

let my phone ring for 17 min. Well that 17 min. was the same time as my break

time. So their equipment screwed up again. and they had to pay me unemployment.

Too bad so sad!

Sometimes it is just not worth it. But do not let them get away with

that its ridiculous! Hang in there and keep us posted!
