The yogurt was not 24hr yogurt, and it has to be. Also, lentils are

only legal if soaked per the instructions in BTVC, and they are an

advanced food. The ones you get in restaurants will not have been

soaked properly. I have had no luck eating out except salads, and

sometimes they are iffy (if they accidentally throw croutons in and see

I didn't want them, they'll sometimes just dig out the big hunks --

sigh).

As far as Indian cooking, you may check out Raman Prasad's cookbooks.

There are recipes in one of them from all over the world; I don't know

about the other one as I haven't looked at it yet. Doesn't he have 2

cookbooks? Anyway, I can't remember the title just now, I'll have to

check.
