Welcome to the group Annie G. I'm . I was DXed 8 mo. ago after years of

suffering in silence.

I saw one Dr. w/complaints about pain but I didn't know how to describe it

because it's always changing. One day my shoulders and neck hurt then the next

day it's my back and hips.

I have a history of addiction and this Dr. was fresh out of internship and had

just attended a

seminar on addiction and he told me that addicts just complain about pain and

that he wasn't going to help me with my pain issues. So I shot him ! NO I didn't

shoot him LOL but if you will I'll let you know where to find him. OK I'm done

w/that stupid silly self entertainm,ent.

Meanwhile I had stoped taking antidepressants after having been on them for

19yrs. and serotonin dropped and the Fibr monster attacked me. My entire spine

was on fire and evry muscle in my body hurt. I had electrical shocks going from

my neck to my eyes and I was frightend to death so I saw

a new Dr. and he DX FM and passed me off to a rheummee who fired me because he

doesn't treat chronic pain .For now I'm seeing a DR. that can bearly speak

AMERICAN and she is giving me Robaxin,Tramadol and Lyrica. My pain level is down

3 points but it NEVER goes away completly.

This is a womderfull group and I have been helped tremendously in the past

8mo.
