Guest guest
Hi, everyone, North Carolina did not take the same damage as Florida from Charlie and Francis, but they visited here just the same. Charlie caused flooding in the eastern part of the state and Francis dropped up to 17 inches of rain in the western mountains. Fifteen counties there have been classified as Federal Disaster Areas. Three to 8 inches of rain fell in our area. Now it looks like Ivan will hit dead center. Bettie Jo is ready to go to sunny California and walk with . But as the walk there is just one week before Autumn in Carolina, I had to put my foot down and insist she stay here and help prepare. The truth is she will not fly and and the Jazzy will take too long for the trip. So , can Bettie Jo be a walker by proxy? Hope so since she has already mailed a donation. I will make sure that she does a few laps in the driveway on October 2 just to insure she feels the pain. Good luck with everything. We will hope for good weather. Don and Bettie Jo Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.
