Guest guest
What is NSV? Here's a quick breakfast idea and has low points... english muffin canadian bacon or turkey sausage patty (sausage had higher points) slice of cheese egg patty My local walmart has egg patties in the freezer section with the pre-cooked sausage patties. They are 1 point. Microwave and you are out the door.
Guest guest
Jo Beth, hi, I have never heard of those egg patties. I am wondering if they are one point because there is no real yoke in it, since one egg is 2 points. I must take a look and see if I can find them too. The NSV means non-scale-victory, when something nice happens besides the scale going down. Like someone finally noticing your losing or getting into that smaller size etc. ...................................................................... Guest guest
You can make your own egg patties using real eggs or egg beaters (depending on how many points you want.) Just make a batch of eggs and cook them in a skillet then use a biscuit cutter to make them into circle shapes and freeze them with cooked sausage patties or canadian bacon slices. Much cheaper than premade and no preservatives in the eggs ) You can also pre toast the english muffins, spray with butter spray and add egg and sausage/bacon/ham and freeze. While your getting ready for work/school just heat in the microwave (add fat free cheesee AFTER sandwich is heated) and eat it on the way to work. I send these to work with Dh on busy days when he has to shovel snow to get the car out etc. and is running late. Moe

Guest guest
Interesting! I've never seen an egg pattie but I might look for one. I do something similar: 1/2 cup egg beaters 1 tsp Mrs. Dash 2-3 drops tobasco 1 veggie sausage patty or 2 sliced center cut bacon (the 2 for 60 cal stuff) 1 triangle light laughing cow cheese 2 pcs reduced calorie wheat bread, toasted I use like a sandwich tupperware type thingy (square), spray with Pam, pour in the egg, Mrs. D, tobasco, and sometimes a drop of sesame oil. Micro for 2 min. At the same time micro the bacon in a pc of paper towel. Toast bread. Spread with cheese, pop on the bacon and the square eggs, wa-la. A 3.5 point breakfast sandwich! I even had one last night when I got home from chaperoning a dance at midnight (because dinner was messed up because of a not too bright pizza guy, and the stadium concessions at school who sold half of two of our pizzas and then said they'd send two more, but never did). Takes all of about 3 minutes. > ? & breakfast idea > > > What is NSV?
