Google digoxin and afib. There have been studies where digoxin makes afib

worse. I think cardios just prescribe it for good measure.

Judy thanks so much - loved your comments about the wine and gin and

tonic...I agree that afib is finicky and I too would not like to give up

everything I

like, including my morning one cup of coffee. (Starbucks French Roast)

I do find, however, coffee or no, that mornings and the first half of the day

seems like a " busier " afib time for me and that I calm down in the evenings.

IF I am staying home and staying calm, of course. And I have googled digoxin

and don't like what I have read. Btw if the doctor never puts you on a holter

how in the heck does he know if and when you come on and off of afib? Sometimes

I think I am out of it just on my own.

I am going to ask my cardiologist tomorrow if I can just get off of the

digoxin. Are you on coumadin? You mention an EP. (electrophysiologist) I would

assume this is the doctor I should be seeing, not just a garden variety

cardiologist.

Thanks so much for your response. It helps a great deal, especially with the

anxiety of this thing.

Lil
