My folic Acid was high on my last blood test??

What symptoms can this cause, do you know?

Im wondering if maybe some of that is my problem. The doc blew it off

and said it was nothing to worry about ''yet''.

When I see any level too high or too low, it should be something to

worry about and correct.

hi katie

here is my experience. I once used a b complex which contained hydroxycobalamin

b12 and folic acid at high amounts. than some time later I started having some

neurological problems. I am not sure if it was due to high folic acid intake or

some other reason as my condition could have been effected by other reasons, too.

I had folic acid test done and my folic acid found to be above top limit. Than I

stopped it. after stopping it my folic acid levels came down.Since than I am

noticing that whenever I take b complexes containing high amounts of folic acid

I am having some high histamine symptoms.congestion, running nose,etc.. hard to

describe. I don't feel well with it and at this point I am using special b

complex that contains low folic acid. it could be that I am not utilizing b12

and/or folic acid well and they are building up in blood.my b12 blood levels are

also high even though I probably have b12 deficiency.

Oh, ok. THanks. I was searching for what high folic acid means, and

couldn't find much, it was all related to breast health I think. Just

another level abnormal that my doc blew off-AUG!

Happy New Year!
