getting ready for surgery next week

Hi everyone, hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

I was up in the North Carolina Mountains for a white Christmas with

my family. (that's a biggie for a southern florida girl:) Got my

surgical wires on Monday on my way back through. I wasn't supposed

to get them til next Thursday but had to make a intermediate stop

since the Resident pulled the wire out of the molar tube last week.

The wire has been poking me ever since! Spoke with the surgeon's

office while I was there. They thought we had gotten approval way

back in July from the insurance company and hence, (you guessed it)

they never applied! The billing lady has been faxing and FedEx'ing

everything with " Urgent " labels. Can you believe it? I am scheduled

for January 10th. Trying to get myself prepared for the inevetable

delay once again. :-( I bought a box of Ensure today to tempt the

fates into believing everything will work out. I haven't taken any

ibuprofen or had any liquor just in case I go on time. Hope everyone

is healing well! I haven't gotten around to reading 13 days worth of

posts yet. Who else is going next week? ~~
