how long before braces come off?

hi there?

i have now had my brace son 4 just over 3 months and my

next appoinment with my ortho is in february, at which point i have

been informed he probably 2 put elastics on me. i was just curious

as to how long other people had to wait before they had elastics on?

i have got to have both my upper and lower jaw moved. how long

approximately did u have to have the braces on before surgery? my

ortho has informed me that my bottom teeth have 2 b at least 8mm in

front of my top teeth before the treatment can take place. i am

getting really scared about it all now and feel that nobody

understands what i am goin through, thats why i am asking you lot.
