Guest guest
For those of you who attend Curves: I was told over the phone that most members pay $43 a month. What determines how much you pay? They said you have to make an appointment and come in for an evaluation. What does the evaluation consist of? Does it cost more the more weight you have to lose or the more toning you need, etc. Can you really see huge benefits only going 3 times a week? Have you incorporated their eating plan? Does it fit in with WW? Any more information would be greatly appreciated. I found a location that is near me. It must have been added since I last looked. I am considering joining if I can figure out how to get there on the bus or train. Thanks!
Guest guest
Correction: It's $39 for most members. Guest guest
Since I signed a one year contract it is only $29 a month also it cost to join. I think thats $150, but sometimes you can join have price or in the case here they were having a food drive and it was free if you brought in a bag of food. The evaluation was weighing and measuring. It doesn't cost any more for what you need to do its the same Anita -- Re: Curves questions Correction: It's $39 for most members. Guest guest
Thanks, Anita! My next problem is, I don't know if I can afford it. I have figured out how to get there. I set up an appointment for Thursday evening at 6:30 (if I don't chicken out). I'll see how long it takes me to get there. I have to see if I am able to make it there after work. On Tues and Wed, I work til 6 and they close at 8 on weeknights. Another question-- When you go for the evaluation-do you have to sign up right then or can you think about it? What if you don't have the money then? With the year contract, do you still pay monthly? I mean you don't have to pay it all at once, right? Sorry for so many questions. I have a bad habit of paying for things and then not taking advantage of them and I'm already broke and in debt way over my head now. > > > > For those of you who attend Curves: > > > > I was told over the phone that most members pay $43 a month. Guest guest
, I pay $29 per month. I paid $149 to join but that's a one time fee. The evaluation consists of weighing, measuring, getting your body fat, and filling out paperwork. They also show you all the machines. They tell us to go only 3 days per week because you need a day between to rest your muscles. Some people go everyday. I don't use their diet. It costs another $59 per month. I hope this has helped you. barb Curves questions For those of you who attend Curves:I was told over the phone that most members pay $43 a month. Guest guest
I think they would probably let you think about it. Yes you still pay monthly. The one a belong too takes it out of your checking account if you want them too. Or you can go ahead and pay when its due. No problem about the questions. I have that habit too, but I have been going to Curves consistently with the exception of February Anita -- Re: Curves questions Thanks, Anita! My next problem is, I don't know if I can afford it. Guest guest
I've tried gyms before, but to me they are not the same. I didn't care much for the gyms, but I really like this more than anything I've tried. Does it mean I like exercise anymore? NO!!! Guest guest
I found out they will give me half off the sign-up fee, if I sign up tomorrow night at the evaluation. Half price is $74. If I don't sign up tomorrow night, then I have to pay the full price if I decide to sign up later. I'm pretty sure I'll sign up tomorrow night. No need to pay extra money for nothing. It just makes me nervous. I'm afraid I'll hate it or won't be able to do it, or something. But it seems to be exactly what I need. Sorry to be such a pain! I guess I'm just excited and worried all at the same time. Thanks so much! > > > > > > > > > > For those of you who attend Curves: > > > > > > > > > > I was told over the phone that most members pay $43 a month. > > What > > > > > determines how much you pay? > > > > > > > > > > They said you have to make an appointment and come in for an > > > > > evaluation. Guest guest
Oops that is a 30 DAY pass. I don't think so, but I think Barb got one when she went on vacation so you might ask her.
