That's funny. You never can tell how a little one will interpret what we say.

Just tell him you won't leave a fire burning on Christmas Eve and that Santa

will magically make it through the fireplace.

I figured it out. We moved to a new apartment with a fireplace in the living

room. (we really have not used it yet). But I remember trying to be more

traditional with Christmas and telling him last week that " Santa is going to

come down the chimney through the 'fire place' Now we have figured out he does

not know what that means and thinks santa is on fire.

Gosh, I am going to have to fix that one for him. How scary. LOL.

LOL! Do you have the movie, " The Santa Clause? " If not, maybe you can rent

it. It gives a good example of how the magic happens and Santa makes it

down without getting burned, and how it works when people don't have

fireplaces, too.

Thanks, I might try it. I believe we might have gotten it straightened out

though. I just could not figure out where he was getting this until I thought

about. Kids take things so literally.

LOL. I just hope he did not tell his friends at school that santa is on fire.
