Hi, ,

If you've already had both of those, ask your doctor to file an appeal with

your insurance company and request an expedited review. They might have asked

for the prednisone because of suspected inflammation (which the prednisone

would treat). The PT's probably their standard " protocol. " At any rate,

definitely appeal their decision.
