Guest guest
Bleeding is the last symptom to go with Uc--it may take months. 5 days on intro, start to intro new foods. H. Pylori is a problem, not only ulcers, but gastric cancer as well. It needs antibiotics unfortunately to eradicate. http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/factsheet/hpylori All the best, Terry UC 7months Lialda 3months SCD6 months To: BTVC-SCD From: greg_lozza@...Date: Wed, 14 Jan 2009 13:36:17 +0000Subject: copper toxicity/H. Pylori Hi everyone, Just a question....actually I'm not really sure what I am asking exactly but my husband has had a few tests done (tissue analysis) that has shown he has very high copper levels in his tissue as well as quite high iron levels. The few tests we've done have all come back in agreement on this. Anyone hear of this relating to UC in any way? Also does anyone have any info on H. Pylori, again in relation to UC? I've read that it causes gut lining ulcerations. Again my husband we've found (though a naturopath testing him with a meridian machine, similar to the VEGA machine) that he has H. Pylori. I wonder if there is any relation to the copper toxicity too? Also, please check my previous post if you have time regarding how long we should continue on the Intro diet....I didn't as of yet get any feedback. Elaine mentions a few days - five days on the intro but he is still bleeding the same as before so I was wondering if anyone found staying on it longer benefitial?Thank you for your help. I'll let you know any other info I find out.
