Guest guest
Eileen I just did a quick check on dicalcium phosphate. The majority of sites I looked at indicated it wasn't too terrible, but I did come across a few that indicated some people have developed kidney and heart issues from using products containing dicalcium phosphate. Dicalcium phosphate is insoluble in water, so the body has difficulty breaking it down. Therefore it could build up in your body and create kidney stones, etc. Depends on how much you ingest over time. My choice would be to avoid it, to find another supplement, but I have a very intolerant body and don't tolerate many supplements. I find supplements that contain just the ingredient I need, in a cellulose capsule so I can empty out the contents and use it as a powder form to mix in water or food. Kim M.
