I have been reading everyone's messages for the last few weeks. My surgery date is Dec. 8 2003 with Dr. from Chico, CA. I didn't think that I would be posting here myself but the closer my surgery date gets the more I realize that I too will need a good support group like this one. :-) I can't belive how quickly the last few weeks have gone by. I am just now starting to get a bit nervous, not so much about the surgery itself but about the recovery. I have two boys ages 13 and 15 who are against me having the surgery so I feel that I need to show as little pain afterwards as possible.
