RE: Difference with doctors

I learned something that may help the confusion about the different diets

we're all on. I said something to the doctor today, and it was explained

that not every surgery is the same. A big difference is with the amount of

intestines bypassed. The more bypassed, the more the need for lots of

protein. It just seemed strange that some were told such large amounts of

protein to get a day. I'm getting 50 and that's okay for now. As I eat

larger quantities, I've been told 75. I thought it was just different

doctors believing in different diets. So....... what it tells me is to do

what your doctor tells you to....he/she probably has a good reason for it.
