I keep reading bits and pieces but I fail to learn what is being talked about. First, How do u learn whether u have a hypo- pit.? By Tsh? How so? Please explain someone. Second, What in earth is reverse t3? And why do I need to know? What is the import of this? Third, After saliva tests showed my adrenals to be functioning poorly, I started with low dose hc. Am up to 10mgs. What else should I be doing? While taking this, is my thyroid med need gonna change? How? What should I do? YTou could know the difference wiht a ACTH STIM teat but a doctor would need to order this for you. most of us just have adrenal fatigeu which is low cortisol caused by the adrenals malfunctioning not from low ACTH which wou;ld be pituitary. >>Second, What in earth is reverse t3? And why do I need to know? What is the import of this?<< Reverse T3 is an inactive thyroid hormone that the body makes form T4 to get rid of exceess T4 when the body cn not utilize it properly. It binds to T3 receptors and blocks theactive T3 form working. >>Third, After saliva tests showed my adrenals to be functioning poorly, I started with low dose hc. Am up to 10mgs. What should I do?<< Yu should be graphing your temps as you raise the HC slowly following www.drrind.com temperature graphing directions. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
