Guest guest
>>Its seems that if one has adrenal fatigue then you need cortisol. << But thi sis not true. Early sdtages of adrenal fatigue are HIGH corti and you certainyl do NOT want or need cortios then. This is one of the best reasons to test first. Also if you are just in the early stages you can use sometimes liicorice and sometimes Isocort depending on how bad your levels are. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Hi, k8teeth - Your rationale seems like something I would do; O wait a minute, it is something I DID do. LOL Having been on T4 only for 42 years, I was pretty sure my adrenals were fried, and - I had flunked the pupil test at the www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/adrenal-info page. This and the fact that I couldn't get to sleep until the wee hours of the morning caused me to ask questions at the NTH list and to start on Isocort. I had no issues with Isocort, and yes, it is weaker than HC. Each tablet is more like 2.5mg, perhaps even lower. Some don't like the idea of the echinacea in it. I only used one bottle, then went to HC. I noticed the difference immediately. In fact, while waiting for the HC pills, I used HC cream and I knew right away that Isocort was so much weaker. I had had miserable diarrhea for 5 long months and it stopped as soon as I used HC cream for ONE day. So, my suggestion is to go right to HC. It is less expensive, too. in OH ----- Original Message ----- From: k8teeth Sent: Tuesday, December 25, 2007 5:30 PM Its seems that if one has adrenal fatigue then you need cortisol. If this is the case(and you have many of the symptoms) why the saliva test. On below link it gives a breakdown of the dose needed, and this is not changed by the results of the saliva test. Also, " Since there is doubt that Isocort actually contains 2.5 mg per pellet " so it would be best to just go straight to " HC " for best results. The reason i ask this is because of 2 things. 1.I live in Australia and saliva tests would have to be sent to the USA via canaryclub, which im not sure would work. 2. i have adreal fatigue anyway,so why not go on HC anyway (for a the time needed)because Im taking 'armour' and as someoene said here,it might effect the adrenals if i dont have cortisol for the adrenals. Thanks for any feedback http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/adrenal-info/how-to-treat/
Guest guest
But there are labs in Australia that do saliva testing. You can come over to www.realthyroidhelp.com and talk to the gals on our Australian Forum. I hope that helps. - Janet > > > The reason i ask this is because of 2 things. > 1.I live in Australia and saliva tests would have to be sent to the > USA > via canaryclub, which im not sure would work. >
