Guest guest
yeah, makes no sense. I have not known her long. But she seems to have an " I know it all " personality anyway. You are right though. Some people do some of the darndest things for a living that does not fit their personalities at all. love, Debra v Caroline Witte wrote: Some attitude for a so-called 'social worker', aren't they meant to help people? That's the problem all over, so many people are in jobs they have no business being in. I've seen it often, nurses who hate patients, elder-care workers who hate the elderly, child care workers who hate children...it all makes NO sense. These people give everyone else in their occupations a bad name. Not to mention the damage they do. Grrrrr!! That is one of my pet peeves. It is just so prevelant. I mean, how many people would go to a restaurant where the chef hated food and cooking? Or read a book by an author who hated writing? Or a movie by actors who hate acting? (Well, there are some who shouldn't be doing that either..LOL!) But, it happens often. I know my parents only wanted me to be a teacher or an RN, and I knew I could never do that, and not because I hated children or wouldn't sympathise with patients, but because my heart would never be in it, and I wouldn't want to go to work. But, many of these people really are dangerous in their occupations. Peace and Love Caroline Yeah, she was quite the pain in the butt. I actually thought for a minute I had met someone who could relate. She says that her first symptoms were that her legs quit working for a while and they thought she had MS. Well, it must not have been very painful if Tramadol took care of it all. I almost feel like she felt threatened or something to find out I have fibro too. She did not want to discuss it. She did not offer any kind of supporitive attitude. I guess she obviously does not need any type of emotional support. And of course, being a social worker she is in tune to recognize " drug seekers " .................... grrrrr that still pisses me off. Well, I will just never talk to her about it again. AND LISTEN TO WHAT SHE SAID ABOUT LYRICA..... she said well, I took one once and it gave me a hangover. I told her it takes time for your system to get use to it. She kind of snidely remarked.. " well I don't have time to get use to it " . So obviously she aint in much pain or she would be willing to try just about anything. Thanks for letting me vent here. love, Debra V. __________________________________________________________ FREE 3D MARINE AQUARIUM SCREENSAVER - Watch dolphins, sharks & orcas on your desktop!
