You're welcome, Terry. I hope it was as helpful to Princesmom as it was

for you. The one thing we all need to do is hold out some hope and

encourage any research that we can. There is a book available on

Amazon.com if you can afford it (quite expensive unfortunately), that is

about the current and state of the art research. Called Pancreatic

Disease: State of the Art and Future Aspects of Research. Very

informative on what research is being done and why doctors are having

some of the problems in their research. Covers, Acute and chronic

pancreatitis and hereditary pancreatitis including the Cystic Fibrosis

Gene and pancreatic cancer. It was published in 1999.
