Dear Mandy,

At my support meeting last night, I spoke to the surgeon and he told me

that in very distal patients (I am one of those) I will not absorb fat

anymore... length of time does not matter, it's the amount of intestine

bypassed that determines how malabsorptive you are. I am extremely

malabsorptive as 225 cm of my intestine were bypassed.

live each day like it's your last... love like you've never been hurt...
