Guest guest
Another iron question. I made some spinach juice, and put 5 teaspoons into a half and half mixture of orange juice and water. It tasted pretty good, which was a bit surprising. However, when I was looking for nutritional information on spinach juice, I found many sites that said the oxalic acid in it leaches iron and calcium from your system. Totally not good! I did find one site that said the oxalic acid was only a problem when the spinach was cooked, but that was only one site against many. So what are your thoughts? Is spinach juice a good or bad choice for increasing my iron levels? Holly Crohn's SCD 12/01/
