Same goes for me, the welcome back!!

Don't worry about the weight creeping up a bit because the most important

thing is that you recognized a pattern that you don't want to have happen

again in the future. We all know the combination of things that makes us

each personally successful and it varies from person to person, but when any

of us lets go of some of the combination then it throws us off balance.

No one will stick to this 100% forever but when we make some minor slips the

biggest victory is when we can hop right back onto the combination. YOU DID

THAT, so pat yourself on the back.

Don't quit the list but maybe take a break from answering too many posts if

you need distance and just read what others wrote.

I am really busy with my kids and can't get on here as much as I'd like but

each and every person on this list and their successes are important to me

and the advice they give is important to me.

When I reached goal I held it for some months but when the weight crept up

and I had to pay, I said that I'd miss the next meeting if I was over and

BOOM, there went my combination of things. Then right at that moment I got

blindsided by Sept. 11th and wavered for a few months until after the New

Year and then fell for good the rest of 2002 and the first four months of

2003. I really realized that I CAN'T let go of any part of the program and

that I can't that cocky attitude creep back in and get complacent about the

weight loss. The most important thing to remember is that we can get right

back on and keep going.

I know that I don't want the 45 back that I've lost so far and the 25 I have

to go is within sight, IF I'd just get on the bandwagon again from the New

Year--hello, it's 14 days later, but I'm trying to hold on and have

maintained for two weeks.

GOOD luck to all of us okay??

And keep posting if any of us is struggling too...

Hi Mitch:

Welcome back. Glad you are here. Yes, you were missed. I knew you'd

be

back when you felt it was time. Everyone needs time off and there is nothing

wrong with taking a break. It is good to do that. It clears the head when

times are not good.

You sounded as if you had a good time over the New Year holiday.

Dancing is good. I am happy things are going well. The pounds you gained

will go

down. No fret.

Wishing you well and glad you are back. Good luck.

Cyrella :)

Yes. That's the thing that's most encouraging to me. I didn't let it

slip away. I've now been totally

back OP for 5 1/2 days and I feel wonderful!!!!! In the past, I'd never

have been able to break the

downward cycle - " I ruined it all. What's the use " - now, I just view it

as another part of the 'journey' and

another learning experience.

Hi Mitch,

I am seriously glad you are back Mitch.

You have been an inspiration to me so many times, but none as much as now.

I had been doing very well online with weight watchers but as the holidays

arrived my resolution dwindled and I gained 5 pounds back of the 34½ I had lost

since early August.

Since shortly after Christmas I have been trying to get back on track.

You have helped me again.

I went to my first meeting on Wednesday (during a very bad snowstorm).

My youngest daughter went with me as she has a weight problem too.

We both enjoyed it very much

I am determined to do this.

Thank you ....You DO help us.

Thanks, Lynn. Glad my own trials, tribulations, setbacks & successes can

help inspire

others. Now is the time to get back on track - glad you wnet to the

meeting on

Wednesday. I know that my going to the meeting last Saturday was my saving

grace - it broke the downward spiral for me. I " m looking forward now to

my meeting

this morning - I've had a great week and expect to reverse the trend

after my 6.2 pound,

2 week gain ---- here's wishing you the same.

Best,

Mitch
