Guest guest
A lady in my church had this same gall bladder procedure done last week, and she's already up and around at home! :-) I hope the same will be true for you! I'm thinking about you, and praying for you! yes, anna - the only reason i stayed at the hospital was because i was already there because of panc. attack. the surgery for the gall bladder seemed like a breeze compared to everything else! good luck - i'll be thinking about you on the 20th. deb s. Don't worry, I had that pillow right next to me a lot! It is amazing how much it does help. The incision pain is wearing off but I am still having pain in my back that is just awful. I am waiting till everything calms down to see if it, too, goes away. I just wanted to thank you....how are you feeling these days?

Guest guest
Hey , I found some really good drinks in the grocery store up here in Canada (same section as the milk) - they are chocolate bar flavours like Caramilk, Crispy Crunch, etc. Really, really good! I also found a low fat mocha cappuccino drink there as well. Sorry you're stuck on liquids. I only had one week of it - could have done more, but was glad I didn't have to. Guest guest
Cold milk section, of course! You guys are way ahead of us on the stuff your pharmacies stock - I can't get anybody to stock half of the stuff that you can get down there, even if I show them the packaging. I had to buy several cases of Brace Relief. My local pharmacy didn't even stock ortho wax, although they do now, as if I'd ever buy any! And we still can't buy beer or wine at the grocery store. > hea > thanks! hopefully they have it here in the U.S.... i > doubt it though you know how behind we are...lol Is it > like in the cold milk section? > stephanie
Guest guest
Better take your ID with you just in case ... lol Believe it or not, until a few years ago, there were parts of Toronto that were still dry - as in restaurants without a liquor license. The city used to be known as " Toronto the Good " . > hea > although starving down here your message gave me a > smile which i have found is the best way to ward off > taking all these rubberbands out and having some > pizza... Guest guest
Hi , Congratulations on your approval. I won't be there on the 18th (wow! . .. . it seems like ages since my orientation), but there is no reason to be nervous. You'll get a chance to meet some of the Richmond Bariatrics staff (who are generally very nice) and they will give you lots of information about the process at Kaiser. It will also be an opportunity to ask them any questions you might have. And, I think that you will be given your pre-surgery weight loss goal. Going to your orientation kinda makes this journey more "real" somehow - of course, that might be what is making you nervous. ;-) Take care, Kay open RNY 12/1/03 Dominguez wrote: HELLO, My name is and i recently was approved. i just found out that my orentation date is june 18th in Richmond. i was just wondering if there was anyone out there that is going to be attending the same orentation as me.... i'm soooo nervious! would be nice to maybe be able to meet some of you guys! this group has given me sooo much info.thanks for posting!
