Guest guest
Hi What a tough situation. I work at a children's hospital and I know we have a program for families without insurance or with limited insurance who need treatment. There are restrictions regarding family income, but families qualify who don't qualify for medical assistance. I would think other hospitals would have similar programs. Are you having a lot of symptoms that you need to have a hysterectomy? Good luck to you. Sydney > I have uterine fibroids that have grown significantly since las summer. I have an indivudal insurance plan that permanetly excludes my uterus because of pre-existing clause. I should have a hysterectomy, but I can't afford surgery. Does anyone know a way to help me? Guest guest
Is it possible for an insurance plan to do that? Was it because of your fibroids that your insurance plan did that? That's terrible. > I have uterine fibroids that have grown significantly since las summer. I have an indivudal insurance plan that permanetly excludes my uterus because of pre-existing clause. Does anyone know a way to help me? , How is it that you are on an individual plan that permanently excludes your uterus? I'm a bit confused here....as most women with health care problems with reproductive disease/uterus wouldn't be so inclined to take out a plan like that and pay premiums that excludes the uterus in entirety. For a woman, that's a fairly exclusionary plan and generally not worth the premiums.....is there another individual plan you could transfer to that would indeed cover your reproductive organs? Guest guest
Sorry vicki I didnt make myself clear. I have been a dxd diabetic since 1990. I started this testing when I got sick. Due to blurry vision etc. I am on oral meds. They have done well by me. I had open heart surgery and gall bladder surgery and some other procedures and my bgs remained in pretty good control Jan Haney T2 But you say that you haven't been below 250 or 300 since you started testing...did you just start testing when you got sick? Or were you this high before the illness?

Guest guest
Thanks guys for the LS ideas. I had a biopsy when this first started that showed squamous cell hyperplasia, but no LS. Could it have developed since then? Thanks again, Hugs, Anne
