Hello,Vegetable oil is out because it's really soybean oil. On every bottle of vegetable oil I've ever seen, the only ingredient listed is soybean oil, which is illegal.I looked up Preservative 220 and it's sulphur dioxide. They expose dried coconut to sulphur to keep it from turning dark. This does not make it illegal.Best wishes,Kim H.husband, , CD 1999, SCD 2002

preservative 220 is in nearly all dried fruits because it helps them retain their natural color, it is also in a lot of wines, more white than red but it is a very common preservative, I know because I am allergic to it, it gives me a rash and asthma.
