Guest guest
Congratulations , sounds like things are really starting to move forward for you, that is great! - Lesa - Fremont Surgery update I am such a big goof. I keep writing these long detailed posts and then don't push " send " but push " post " ........duh!!! Well my friends, I finished all my pre-op surgery appts. last Friday in Fremont. Gordy and I had same day appts. at different facilities. Gordy, I think I know some of what you are feeling guy. I haven't had a problem with losing the 10% and I feel pretty darn good right now. But, I know me, so I am going through with the surgery. It's a pretty tough decision when it's staring you right in the face. I mean, after 14 months of hoop jumping, there is a good chance I will be slotted into a " cancellation " slot and have surgery in November. That kinda makes my toes curl up. My surgeon will be Dr. Dutta. He's scheduled me for a Lap, but depending on what everything looks like after he is inside he has the option to " open " . I had a wonderful experience at the Fremont site. I got fast tracked because I was at goal when I had my intial consult with the surgeon. I had my EKG and chest x-ray yesterday. I have another (and final) psych evaluation at a Union City location On November 4th. After that I can be placed into any cancelled slot during the month of November. If that doesn't happen, I'll be placed on the offical calendar for December. Unreal. Before I close I wanted to let the group know that Fremont is adding an additional surgeon to it's surgery staff this week. Dr. Hahn will be joining Dr. Dutta and Dr. Dennon. Now there are 3 bariatric surgeons at Fremont. Have a great week! D
Guest guest
Hi , I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you - in hopes that you'll get a Nov. date. I am so happy for you. I know that it can all be daunting - I was really scared of even being in the hospital, much less having them rearrange my innards - but I still feel strongly that WLS is one of the best things I've ever done. I've met Dr. Dutta and was very impressed with him. I am sure that he will take great care of you. It is also great to hear that they've added another surgeon. I look forward to your posting a surgery date. I'm thinking " November, November, November . . . " Take care, Kay in San Leandro open RNY 12/1/03 D wrote: > > I am such a big goof.
