My daughter has a pediatric GI at UofC in Chicago and I'm not happy with him at the moment. In September when I saw him last, he said 's pains in her gut were all in her head. My son is off all meds, too, but his team of GIs (at one of the top children's hospitals in the country) never asked what we are doing and of course never offered the SCD. They have marveled at his progress, though. I find this very hard to understand (why they would not want to know what we're doing) and even quite sad.
