That goes double for me. I too lost my mother, its been about 11 years

now, actually it will be 11 years on good friday. I too have you in my

thoughts, if you ever want to talk about it let me know.

I'll keep you in my prayers on Good Friday. I lost my Mom 7 years ago

yesterday. I thought it would be a really rough day (it usually is) as my

husband was out of town, but God provided. I wound up singing 2 solos at

church yesterday, one of them at all three services. It helped keep me from

dwelling on it, and actually gave me a tangible way to honor my Mom. She

loved to hear me sing and I even sang at her funeral, so it turned out to be

a " warm fuzzy " day instead of a really depressed one.

BTW, prayer is nothing more than having a conversation with God. If it

helps, put a chair in front of you and imagine Him sitting down for a

conversation with you.

thank you for your kid words. When I thought about it a little bit I

guess I actually do pray everyday. I have a lot to be thankful for and I

, you sound like my kind of Mama's girl. I was 23 when I lost my

mother and even now there are days it is hard. It has been 23 yrs. But like

you there are certain days that just the thought of her and the memories

gives me " warm fuzzies " . It will be up to us motherless daughter's to hold

up our friends in prayer. Prayer is the power of our Awesome God made
