Also, does anyone know how many calories are in 2 stewed apples with honey and butter? I'm trying to eat things to help me gain as I don't want to loose any more weight. Update:..... today is day 9 on the diet for me. I'm doing good but could really use some more food! The difference I notice the most so far is going without grains and how good my tummy feels. I wish I would have known this 10 years ago. I don't have D, but I still belch more than I want to, and my energy is just beginning to come back. One bad thing is...........I can't eat bananas just yet. Even very ripe ones give me indigestion. They did before the SCD also. That is very disappointing because I love bananas! Oh well, patience, patience. Of which I have none! Also went to the Dr. It appears the infection in my colon is gone (I took two runs of antibiotics) and he wants to do a colonoscopy in 6 weeks. I am NOT looking forward to that. ~But of course who does~. Seriously, I make a bad patient. CONFESSION: I just started my food journal today. I'm about 9 days late. The only Welch's juice that is legal is their 100% Grape juice (red, purple or white are all fine). Also, does anyone know how many calories are in 2 stewed apples with honey and butter? It depends on how much honey and butter you put in it. One peeled apple has roughly 60-70 calories according to CalorieKing.com. Guest guest Posted January 24, 2009 Report Share Posted January 24, 2009 You can make a grape/cherry one though, by mixing Welches 100% red or purple grape juice with the Knudsen's Just Black Cherry. The Knudsen's just juices are legal. ONLY the Just ____ juices though, not the rest of their juice line. The black cherry one is pretty good. Oh, and on the Welches juices, I'm pretty sure the ones with the calcium or fiber added are not legal -- only the plain ole plain ole.
