Guest guest
I would ask your doctro about calcitonin. As until you get to a good dose of Armour you may stil be low in it. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
I've been meaning to ask about this. I know that getting my thyroid dose where it needs to be (whatever that is) won't be detremental to my bones. And I seem to remember reading that taking the HC in the correct dose to replace what the adrenals aren't making won't cause the issues that higher doses of prednisone and so on cause. I already have osteopenia though and I'm wondering if I need to do anything extra (besides taking calcium and Vit. D) to help protect my bones. I've tried the stuff like Actonel & Fosamax in the past and it hurts my stomach. Guest guest
>>I have not heard of anything that reverses osteoporosis but I have seen p[eople that had improved Dexa scans after beginning treatment wiht Armour.>> Yes, Miacalcin (which I take) does rebuild bone. Here is the web page info from the company: http://www.miacalcin.com/info/howWorks/buildBone.jsp I can tell you personally that I have been using it for six months and it has improved my bone strength, and I no longer have bone pain in my back. It is easy to use, just a spray in one nostril. I also take strontium which also builds bone (and is used in Europe by prescription, but you can get it here as a supplement). Guest guest
Dove, My doctor mentioned this to me, but I didn't follow through because I hate nosesprays. Does it drip down your throat and leave you with that nasty taste? I can't stand that and know I wouldn't use it if it does that. Thanks! Cherie > > Yes, Miacalcin (which I take) does rebuild bone.
