Guest guest
Thankyou to everyone who answered my previous question. Well it has been an emotional 24 hours. We do not eat meat for religious reasons. We actually went out to dinner last night for the first time in a year. Dad did have some fish and I was trying to convince him to at least eat eggs. Elaine says you should at least eat one egg a day and more cheese if you want to do it as a vegetarian. Plus I had some gnocchi last night the first bit of wheat in 6 months very stupid on my part. i do not have caeliac disease but I do have the gene. Well I wake up this morning and we all had a fight me dad and mum. All about whether he should go on the diet or not. Mum and Dad were saying you should just leave it up to god. They also said to me we could die tomorrow and I was thinking at least you would have felt better. And while I believe in god sometimes you have to help yourself. God wants you to have a healthy body so you can pray and serve him. I pointed out to dad that he had been eating gelatine in his lactose free yoghurt for months. Then I started to cry. I just went to bed. When i woke up he had gone and brought some eggs. So we have started. But need to know if he will suffer any withdrawals.
