Guest guest
High Cecilia When I had my surgery on Nov 15 they removed my Gal bladder at the same time. Since I had galstones it was the time to remove it and Kaiser paid for it. Roncecilia wrote: As you all know we have to have commorbitities or a high bmi. Well I have them and my question is my bladder has pretty much decide to do its own thing with very little movement involved (NO LOL HERE) Anyway I already know that surgery is what they do to fix it. My question is does kaiser combine other surgeries when they do the gastric bypass? I would love for them to fix it at the same time. Who wants more than going under once! Thanks Cecilia
Guest guest
In the initial class that I took, here in Sacramento, they said that, if my gall bladder needed to be removed at the time of surgery, they would do it. It has not been mentioned since then, but I think they will. In fact they said that the patient would be given a release to sign, at the time of surgery, that would state the gall bladder would be removed if it needed to be, and that was okay. I would certainly enquire if I were you. LaWanda At 05:14 PM 12/6/04, you wrote: >As you all know we have to have commorbitities or a high bmi. Guest guest
I also had the same problem and once I had lost 75+/- lbs. it all went away. Give it a try before you mess with the bladder if possible. I always wet my pants before surgery now I never do it. Kaiser will do two surgeries at the same time BUT maybe not the bladder surgery. You will need to talk to the surgeons and see what they say. Good luck, SUE post op.. surgery question As you all know we have to have commorbitities or a high bmi.
