why can't you have eggs on intro?

Or apples? - you'll have to peel and cook apples

but that is easy enough.

start very slowly. especially since you haven't had milk in months.

with a teaspoon for your first day.

you may have less trouble using goat milk for yogurt.

what about making chicken/meat broth? That's supposed to

be a mainstay for the first few days.

how about some vegetable puree - either carrot, spinach or

zucchini with some added coconut oil or butter.

Thanks Mara,

I so appreciate your input. I read about eggs in the BTVC book. " When brisk D

is no

longer present, egg may be added to the diet. " There are numerous

contradictions

between the book and the legal/illegal list online. If I can have eggs, that

would be a

god-send. I had heavy fruit and eggs and a very active today.

Mara, the book says " Although all fruits, all raw vegetables, and as much honey

as desired

may be used when the D has cleared. " If I can have fruit/apples peeled and

cooked, that

too would be great.

Thanks, Thanks, Thanks

culley <?>,

If you have brisk D, too much fruit is a problem - you left that out

of your

description of yourself - which makes it hard to advise you. In any

case I would stick to peeled apples - and maybe pears added in a bit,

for the short term.

As to whether eggs will effect you with brisk D - that's more of a

general caution - it effects some people, others not. You'll have to

determine that yourself, if you have that issue.

Regards,

Mara
